TRAVATROL® linear positioning system for surface grinders provides an accurate and efficient method of controlling reciprocating movement of the table and cross feed.  It is also adaptable to other machine tools requiring adjustable limit positioning and reciprocating single axis motion control.

TRAVATROL® digital motion control systems replace manually adjusted “trip dog” devices.  The traverse range limit position is selected by the operator via front panel control.  Re-positioning is possible during machine operation.
 

Cost saving benefits include faster machine set-up time, faster machining cycle times, and less wear and tear since the machine does not run at full stroke.  The end result is high productivity at lower costs.

The digital linear positioning system from ELMATCO® works in conjunction with the grinding machine’s electro hydraulic system and inclined taper bar for precise repeatability.  Two-piece TRAVATROL® positioning control systems are available for retrofitting by the OEM, rebuilder, or qualified service technician.
